When my Dad put these in 25 years ago the guy at the nursery said they were an ornamental and would never get more than 15' - 20' tall...

Chain on the mac d44 got a sharpening. It has a broken link. Will have to see if i can get that fixed sometime.
The bar needs a little attention too. Rails need to be closed up.

More junk on the bench. Echo needed a chain. Took one i had for the stihl and shortened it up 3 links then sharpened it.
This is the boys saw. He got the bar last weekend from a relative. Now he is just waiting for the mounting hardware for the chain brake handle and saw is complete. Should be in this week.

Sir Yes Sir, Shaggy Bark River Birch.
Same issue here with a blue spruce.

I was supposed to get the dwarf variant called “fat Albert” interestingly enough. Well, someone swapped tags and now my 12ft max spruce is at 25’ and still going strong.

Found these two sad saw's in a bin is the old Poulan worth fixing? what model is It?
Ebay might have a parts saw if it's worth fixing or I won't worry about it if it's not a model worth fixing.
No clue what the other saw is I've never seen one before it's a cheap looking thing.

Very nice darn things have a good amount of low end grunt which is no surprise the Mac's just have what most saws wish had. Lol. And I'm a Stihl man but every time someone brings me a Mac to work on I always get a grin on my face when I do some test cuts.:D:beer-toast1:
