I havent seen many oils here that I wouldnt use. Super Tech and H1R would be 2 I would steer clear of for saw applications

Looks to be a good oil but from Redbulls test at the lower ratio it needs more load than what we can put on it with general saw usage? I bet milling it would look totally different or at a higher ratio in general usage it would combust better. If Redbulls piston was clean from the start of the Red Armour test and at that low ratio I bet it would stay very clean if thats what one is looking for

Lol! I agree Chris! Bottomline is ported saws with higher compression place more load on bottomend bearings and will benefit from extra oil. Where the problem comes into play is not all oils will perform and combust properly at 32to1 and the loads of general saw usage

I really like the saber and really like super m and k2, but I ram the super m and k2 in a pwc. I recently started running mystic/citgo sea & snow and aircooled. I really like them too. And super cheap @ $56 for 12 qts.

Red Armor works well 40:1 to 50:1 as designed and stated. FD oil for air cooled engines.

Don't remember the smell however.

As long as you are not tuned to rich there is not much smell but if you run it rich it burns for lack of better term.

I think spectrum makes Dolmar synthetic, Woodland pro synthetic, husqvarna xp, and I am sure many others as well. So red armor is spectrum as well?
