Picked up both of these this morning 390XP and 372XP. Super clean P&Cs, fire right up and work like they should. With a little cleaning they will fit right in! Got em both for less than I woulda paid for just the 372.

I chucked a bit of mix in it on Saturday and it fired and started right up, very rich, but running! I stripped it down and it's nice to see this:

Looks like you just need to give 'er a good cleaning and maybe a re-ringing.

I don't have a camera.
5 hp Briggs front tine, American Hardware Stores painted on chassis.

From the missing and replaced fasteners, I'd say it's rattled a few teeth.

Have a new pile of fun I picked up on a online auction. The one jred runs is a 2258. I am looking forward to learning about auto tune. The 029 super has no compression. (I have a top end for it) Yet to investigate further. All sold as scrap.

Finally got a craftsman Sears best 3.3. This one is in nice shape too. Made back when craftsman stuff was actually good and not crapsman junk.

Great saws, I had a couple of the 3.3s, a 335 and one of those Tim Allen saws that I regret selling.

I fixed a saw for the sawmill across the street and I asked the owner if he had any scrap pieces of oak that I could test chainsaws on, he said he had some that had sat to long and was to hard to cut.
