Here’s the latest from my shop. This is 143 #3 to roll out. This saw was completely built from new parts. Even the screws (except for two) are new. Probably the most significant part has to be the Euro spec muffler ! I have @Shane¹ to thank for that. For now, it’s never been gassed, the NEW Tillotson carb is still a few weeks out. “She’s a beaut Clark”! View attachment 376723View attachment 376724View attachment 376725View attachment 376726

That's a beautiful piece of dolmar history glad I could add a piece to this fine piece of artwork. Good work Jim that is a really nice saw!

Got some new toy at my place:

A DOLMAR PS-6000i of 2001 as a special edition "Classic Edition".
Runs fine, needs a little cleaning work an a fresh set of decals and perhaps a new bar.
Found her a few minutes drive away in a nearby village.
Unexpected close by personal pickups tend to turn out best, I got my PS-3400 like that, and my second PS-7900, and a bit of a drive away my first PS-7900 & PS-6100CE. 😎

Is anyone able to identify this saw from the crankcase? I cannot find an ID tag or even a part number anywhere on this thing.

This is a crankcase for PS-4600, PS-5000, PS-5100 and PS-5105 but not for PS-510,
although it would fit the latter.
On your last two pics, there are the letters "Mg" for magnesium visible. The semi-pro
models with a 3-digit model designation such as PS-460, PS-500 and PS-510
had a cheaper and slightly heavier aluminium "Al" casted crankcase.

Are those Mg and Al the same and swap between? I've seen some PS-460 very cheap and consider building a 5100 myself.

I was trying to order a couple of short circuit switches, ( on off switch) for 430 -520, 115, 6000i etc, I'm told NLA,
I tried part number 965 605 400 and 957 605 112, can anybody offer an alternative part number or replacement idea's?
Thank you in advance
