How about that NOS Tillitson for 125 carburetor, sold for 495.00 a couple weeks ago , that’s crazy

There was a NOS regular profile SP125 handlebar a year and a half ago that went for $490.00...that's just nuts.

It looks like Mark is going to have to raise his prices...

Would any of you fellows know the ID and OD of a Mac drum bearing #103688? I located an Oregon, 10624 clutch drum and rim sprocket .404-7 but the crankshaft on my Mac 200 is .625 while the ID of Oregon needle bearing is approx .585. It even states on the box that it will fit 105,125,200,250 etc. The OEM drum has bronze bushing instead of the needle bearing. Thanks

down-n-dirty - I've done some checking and no matter what the internet or the box told you, Oregon 10624 will not work on a 5/8" crankshaft. The bore of the drum .688" and the crankshaft diameter as you know is .625.

103688 is the same as several other McCulloch part numbers including 68866, 87111, and 90360 which are an SCE910 or just 910 bearing with an O.D. of .750".

As far as I know, the only large spline drum that will fit the 5/8" crankshaft for the large frame saws is an Oregon 10608 and is fit with a bronze bushing.

I have bearings (9/16x3/4) and bushings (5/8x3/4) that can be used in the large frame drums like 90359 but at this moment I am not aware of any spline drums with bearings that will fit the large frame saws using the 5/8" crankshaft.

I do have a few 60919 drums with bearings that fit the 5/8" crankshaft but they have a fixed rim .404-7 sprocket, not the splined/floating rim type that allows you to replace the sprocket independently.

Hope this link works, but a neat documentary of Mount St. Helens cleanup that i saw on another forum. Starting at roughly the 27 minute mark there is some neat footage of 125s. Thought you guys would like.
He dropped that 125 and took off running. Saws and men were both a lot tougher back then.

I've got a few NOS Oregon rim sprocket drums for the large reed valve Macs .I can't remeberr if they have a bearing or a bushing. Actually as far as I'm concerned a bushing should work as well as a bearing .I need to tote in some fire wood so I'll find them and report back .I think I know where they are at .

If you find any with part numbers I'd like to know so I can compare to what I have on hand.

Okay what I found in my limited parts inventory .The 10624 has a bearing but again not large enough unless changed over to a bushing ,I have only one .Three that I could find of 10608 which are bushings .Had kind of a conversation with Mc Bob on this and he had a thing for bearings for some reason .What he ever did about it I have no idea .
I do have one 250 with a rim drive and 3/8" 8 tooth rim but what drum number it is has slipped my mind it's been so long ago .However a 250 running 3/8" chisel is lot faster than the original .404 chipper .I might add though at one time just to see how much that old war horse had I had a 32" adapted Stihl bar using a 7 tooth rim and that thing pulled it no problem . BTW that thing has been religated to the shelf ,it's been at least 12-15 years since I've even started it .

In tinkering around yesterday I found a rim drum same size as a reed valve McCulloch with no markings .I have no idea who made it ,brand new never used .What caught my attention is it not only had a bearing but also a steel sleeve to fit inside the bearing to reduce the ID .Evedently made to fit several models .
So usually Oregon being the most popular would be refered to but there are others made at one time .With that it could be one of the lesser known brands might have a bearing in place of a bushing but likely they might be like looking for a hens tooth .

I did get the BP-1 back together yesterday. Started and ran for a bit then quit, wouldn't restart... I am now looking for the fuel pump gaskets and diaphragm.

I'm down to my last diffuser so I asked my Engineer friend to create a drawing. Still needs a little work.
