That's a great area about an hour away from me. There are a few small secluded lakes up there we used to go inner tuning on hot summer days.

Wow. The land gets decimated when logged. Does the area get replanted?

If Washington is like Oregon it’s law to replant, there’s a reason we clear cut and thin like we do out here. Most companies have a rotation of roughly 45 years.

I know that some land is cleared for wildlife reasons.
Good thing replanting is mandatory.

At least the loggers put the law in not the government, look up Oregon’s forestry practices act it’s something we the loggers help put in and maintain not the nutty environmentalists.
