WANTED Stihl MS660 crankcase

I would like to buy a Stihl MS660 crankcase.

Thanks, I got quoted $320 from one dealer and $260 from another. Not sure why the difference.

I was hoping to find a used one in good shape to save some money. I wasn’t planning on having to replace the case when I bought the saw.

Plus, it’s a big project for me since I am just getting my feet wet with working on chainsaws. Maybe one day.

Who has the reputation for building the best 660s? If I go new, I’ll likely send it off to someone for a rebuild and port job.

I just noticed your location and @Chainsaw Jim Is in your neck of the woods and is another great builder.

The is a saw shop in Victoria that had a bunch of 066 hulks in their shop.
Not sure if the 660 cases are the same. PM me if ya want the info.
