Unfortunately, where I live has changed so fast ... and not for the better!

RE taxes are now more than 10X higher than when I moved here, and more than half the school in non-English speaking. But when you have RE, a business and relatives it is so hard to move.

And upstate politicians are screaming that Mayor Adams (NYC) is trying to send more illegals North. I guess his sanctuary City idea didn't work out too well! They better do something about the border soon, or it will impact all of us.

I still can't figure out why Social Security is going to run out of money, but money for illegal aliens is not! Something does not seem right with that.

NY has been consistently going down the toilet for years. High taxes that keep getting higher…and not much to show for compared to what you’re paying. Decent work isn’t the easiest to come by. Everyone has their hand in your pocket. And the crazy politics. Unfortunately being attached to nyc brings a lot of bs upstate. If we could be 2 separate entities maybe it wouldn’t be as bad. But as stated, when you have roots established leaving isnt the easiest. Although it’s getting tempting. Many of my friends have went south. Some say they make the same $…but they have much more in their pocket. Go figure.

I know of a couple long-time timber falling contractors that retired and now live in southern Mexico. They really like it and are treated well.

Cylinder is another one of these rare Mahle transition cylinders, short second fin and no decomp, (consistent with other 034S cylinders) but with port shape resembling an 036 cylinder with the teardrop intake and rounded sides to the exhaust:

Odd transition jug.

For porting it will do just fine. For a stock saw (looking for that better factory jug) it won’t perform like the KS 48mm 034S cylinder.

It’s basically an 034S cylinder on the outside with 036 ports. Rounder exhaust roof and teardrop intake.
