Stihl 044 Cylinder plating....

Bought this 044 slant fin cylinder in a parts lot, started cleaning it then noticed this chip in the plating at the base of the cylinder.....Is it still usable?

I would use a diamond ball and flatten it out, then run it like you stole it after installing a new piston
