SOLD Shindaiwa 488 package

I have 2 Shindaiwa 488s that I want to sell together. One is a parts saw in a box. Piston was scored and is not included. Cylinder should clean up. Everything else is there.

The other I acquired recently in a trade with @old guy. Neither of us have run it much, but cosmetically it's in very good shape. Missing a little paint on the clutch cover, but otherwise it's clean and shiny. It has an adjustable H jet. The parts saw does not. It starts up and runs well. The starter rope is a little short. I think Jon deleted the base gasket and opened up the muffler, but I can't recall exactly what he told me. Hopefully he'll chime in here and let us know.

I'd like to get $175 plus actual shipping for both saws. No bars or chains included.

I've never run them side by side, but they are supposed to be about like an 026 on performance. Maybe not quite as much juice. I could put both models on a scale and see, but they're not far apart in weight. The 488s have an outboard clutch, so you can only imagine how well they handle...

I probably shouldn't. I'm selling my 488s to recoup my cash from a certain t4driller 346xp purchase, so in a sense it's a trade already.

But... if you've got something in mind, shoot me a PM. If these don't sell in a few days, I'll certainly consider it.

Thanks for the reminder, these have been sold! They're great little saws. Actually, I had them listed on Craigslist too, and forgot to delete that ad as well, but got to speak with a guy up in ladysmith WI yesterday who called about them. Obviously he didn't get the saws, but we talked for quite a while. Said he's known Scott and Chris Kunz for some time now and that he gonna try to get to the G2G in a few weeks. I guess neglecting my ad had a cool effect that time. Thanks for the bump though Warped.
