Sorry if I started the drift. Randy, please tell what you think is important in a 390 muffler.

Drift is fine. If this site was all saw stuff....I'd leave. LOL

For me.....it needs to be able to be screened, and not overly loud.

See, screens are fine especially if they are removable. Loud? I always wear hearing protection :)

My dog chewed through a hogue 10/22 stock
Once.
She would knock my guns over before
I got a safe.
That's why I asked.
Gotcha that was a joke that Gun does not live there. I told logger450 the saw ran really good and he said he was going to take it so I sent him that. When I got the message keep it in my bed room I resent it

True, vibration is measured by metres per second. (m/s) The higher the rev the higher the vib in a mathematical equation.,,,
Randy you are right.
In reality that's bollocks.
There is more to the equation,,and my hands will be more than happy to tell you so.

Never. They all have a thing you scan on em.

13,500. AKA 13,600 coil. The 371 was a recommended 13,500 and so was the 362.
365 was 12,500 with zama carb. and was 'smoother' haha. In ones wildest dreams.

*Edit

Smoother on 'paper at 12,500
.haha

Speaking of drowning out the bad with lots of good....

Perhaps the “forum guys” could band together and put a properly-built saw in the hands of one or more YouTube influencer types: BBR, Human, Logger Wade, Cotontop, etc.

Not sure anyone really needs the advertising, sounds like everybody has plenty of work....just a way to drown out some of the other nonsense and promote quality workmanship.

Easy for me to sit here and spend someone else’s time and money. Maybe a collection type of thing to get the ball rolling.

Just a random thought. Probably not a great one.

Logger Wade has run a Tree Monkey 395, and likes it. Steve Billows is the one who owns the saw and let Wade run it.
