I'm looking to build a 395 from parts. It will be a sawmill powerhead so broken cases, stripped holes, busted plastics and smashed rear handlebars don't matter. I can fix holes and cracks if needed.

Need to find two maybe three people to box up some parts they probably would toss and ship them here :D

Trades, dumb looks and paper is all I offer :)

Whole complete clean starter or I'll get aftermarket new. Rope and handle not needed.
OEM wrist pin bearing, wrist pin and clips.
Used top ends complete

Cases and case bolts, oil cap
Bar studs, outer bar plate and bar nuts
Tank handle, fuel cap, throttle cable
Oil pump, oil lines, washer and worm
X Handlebar screws for a full wrap
Xx Full wrap lower spacer
Top cover
AV mounts and screws
Clutch, drum, bearing, washer and clip.
Wiring and kill switch, maybe

Anything I'm missing?
Air shroud or conductor.
Decomp valve
Coil to fit the case

The flywheel will be changed.

Cylinders in OEM with stripped holes is ok with me.
I can get AM BB kits pretty reasonable but you can offer them.
Not interested in smeared or scored jugs with heavy transfer.

Clutch cover pad.
Busted side covers work to cut down.

I got you a wrap handle you can have. You’ll have to do some straightening.

Ken,
I’m going to look at a pile of 394/5 carcasses really soon, I’m not sure on co diction of most of it, but from what I’ve seen I bet there’s a real good start to a parts saw. I’ll let ya know
Thanks
Dan the Greek is on my heals for the scraps I won't need. Plus all of it is good trade bait you :buitre:

One more small deal made today and some more pending.

Even found some spare 084 parts.....consumables and starting a second build. That oil pump seems to be the exclusive large part. Feebay 150 yikes....kits r&r 50

Get what you need to get your milling saw ready, Ken. I've got plenty to do before I'm ready to start putting a 394 together.

I'm probably gonna start with that box o'66 first and get it sold before building another saw.

So...
Wrap handle and lower plate, check
Still need screws, AV mount and the bottom block.

Inner bar plate, check
Still need the outer.

More coming next week.

Wanted:
Busted or crunched side adjust D009 mount clutch covers.
Most of it will be cut off anyway.
Makita or Dolmar will work also I'd imagine

Three side covers coming next week. One is a broken piece of crap. The others may have potential. Time will tell. I encourage trades. After cleaning and inspection, parts are going to start heading out for Stihl and Husky 394-5. I have extras of common Stihl and not so common parts.
One person has lots of good stuffs. Problem is it might take him a bit to dig through and cull the not so good for felling saws, parts. Every one is whoarding, again. I need mill use serviceable parts. Not pretty but not completely smoked :(

I found a crank...it's nice. Need a back up for my box of goodie spares.

Any movements on your barn find Custer?
