Oil pump Piston Stihl

The one on the right is a 028 Stihl oil Pump Piston . The one on the Left was in a sealed Stihl Package but no number . It is the same size as the one that goes on the 028 but has wider Gear area. Any Ideals ?

Looks like you won’t be able to fit that in the housing, did you check the diameters with a caliper ?

The one on the LEFT is a 1118-647-0606 and the one on the right is a 1118-647-0605 BOTH fits a 028 but different Ser. Number range.
