Same here, but dad just called and asked if I could do chores this afternoon...

Chores,on the weekend. Work the new litters,wean the old litters,feed,breeding barn and haul a couple loads if you have any daylight left.

Chores,on the weekend. Work the new litters,wean the old litters,feed,breeding barn and haul a couple loads if you have any daylight left.

Generally 95% of the litters are born Thursday's and Friday's. Very few are born over the weekends. Breeding is done in the mornings.
Evening chores on the weekends are pretty laid back, just walking barns and checking things over.

We only haul chit twice a year normally, spring and fall. If some neighbors plant wheat then we will empty out in the summer just in case the fall goes to chit.

If it doesn't rain next week, I should have pumped 1-1.5 million gallons.
