Good morning guys,
56°F, a tad rain now and then, into my first cup coffee today.
We're gone try to get most of the firewood indoors today, probleby use a day or two next week for a cleanup, time to clean up the area where we work and finish da wood ;)

I hope Gunther's health improve when the antibiotica starts to kick in!

He can move around now this morning, a little slow, but he's up and moving when he wants. So I guess that stuff is working and that was his problem.

Morning all / Evening Todd.

75 headed to 95 later today, air is filled with hazy smoke from the fires in Northern Alberta and BC.

This afternoon we are headed to Tamara's dad place for a family gathering. As he isn't expected to live until Christmas he wanted the family all together one last time...

That's good to hear. I was afraid you were going to have to get another dog to lick his nuts for him.

Damn near, was quite the scare. Glad you and the rest of the fellas helped Gunther with the positive thoughts and helped me take my mind off it a little bit.

Glad to hear Gunther is doing much better today. How are you doing today Steve?

Much better with the load being lifted off of my mind. Amazing just how much we care for our pets, taking it all for granted until something goes wrong with them.

Yep and it's not like a human that can tell us what's wrong.
Animals are really good at not showing a weakness or injury. It's a survival thing. You have to really know the animal sometimes to know when something isn't quite right.
Gunther is a lucky pooch to have an owner like Steve. Lots of people would of just left him be for a few days before seeking medical help. Quite often this is the difference between a good recovery and digging a hole.
