Nice saw! Been wanting to find a 390 myself one of these days. I like the stripped bar! I know I could search...but what's weight like on these? I've heard there's not a big difference from a 372?

Look at the rear of a 390 and a 372. Notice how two av springs are used in the rear on the 390 vs 1 on a 372. The front lower spring is also thicker. Stronger av and better AV limiters for longer bars. Just a step up in pretty much every area. A larger beefed up 372 copy really.

2.5 lbs or so actual weight. 576 is less than a lb

The man is dead on...I just weighed them both (b/c I’m hiding out in my fortress of solitude)

Nice! You gotta try and use those beautiful saws. They look like they have never been used.
Get out and cut! Lol

Lol! I cut for fun, not to make a living so it’s a hobby for me...and I like taking care of my tools. They’ve both been run, the 371 a good bit actually, I’m just kinda nuts about cleaning them up when I get done (that’s not the only way I’m crazy, but it’s one).

This is why I'm out on the 385/390. If I'm carrying 17.5 pound powerhead, I'ma have my tree niney feckin fo! ftw

394 is 19.4 from what I weighed. Might as well tote an 084 at 20.5. It’s the same as a 2100. I never minded running a 390 for a few hours on end as a 1 saw plan. 394 and heavier wears me down.
