I've got a pretty nice low hour ms361 I have to sale.
I bought it from a member here last year, and have not ran it enough to justify keeping it around.
Saw starts easy, and runs good.
$450 plus shipping, (usually around $35 for the lower 48).
Paypal f&f or you are welcome to pay the extra 3% for the fees.

Looks like the later OEM Brazilian made cylinder. At the base it will say BR on one side and Stihl on the other...GLWS

Okay guys here's more pics.....

Has Stihl stamped on the cylinder on the pto side.

I really don't want to pull it off because I now believe it is indeed oem, and I don't want to mess anything up inside..... I'm not a great saw tech, and most guys would not want me rummaging around in the guts of their saws.
Anyways, I'm going ahead with selling it as oem, if someone doesn't feel comfortable with that they are welcome to not buy it.

You have here a good "survivor" 361 that any saw nut will be happy to have, as it's in good shape yet and indeed has an OEM cylinder, which means it will also be a good runner that this model is well known for.

Cause it looks different than the oem cylinders he was familiar with.

I haven't handled a lot of 361s but I've rebuilt three now and I've noticed that most of the parts on a 361 have a different "feel" than
parts on some of Stihl's other professional-grade saws. I'm not sure if it's the design - as the 361 was designed to be a very lightweight, nimble-handling machine. I know when ported, they can be quite fast.

I'd guess the dark cylinder material looked fishy, dark aluminum cylinders tend to be a/m, whereas shiny alum ones tend to be oem.
