I sold two Meteor FS480/FR480/MS270 pistons to a customer to replace worn pistons in a pair of MS270 chainsaws.
One worked flawlessly for him but the other saw has a small end of the crank that is too wide to fit the piston.
Mediacat shows two different crankshafts (ez start and regular, i believe) but only one piston.
Anyone have further insight?
I would like to get him the right piston, he says the bores match but not the small end of the crank.
I have never worked on an MS270/MS280.
I am stumped
thanks
Dave
