Is this a known issue or just a fluke just finished rebuilding a 200T ran perfectly for month than one morning started it let warm up, air cover fell off as I went into a cut and pop, oh joy, upon checking found catch fell out and for some reason instantly knew what happened, in the photo on the cylinder deck the pin, and the resulting damage to cylinder, and piston, this is either the dumbest design flaw or some serious bullshittry from Stihl going to rebuild it again and sell it staying with Husqvarna and Echo never had a 201T but pretty sure understand the cover screw change

I’ve been careful with Stihls that has the twist lock air filter cover.

A dab of Lubriplate and push in while turning to avoid over stressing a problematic design. [emoji1696]
