Thanks for the offer but I will pass on that :)
Jms was a hack Did poor work. Belt sander for shaving base off cylinder. Charged premium. Swapped good parts out for used stuff. That’s a brief explanation. Got busted red handed. Was banned

He could build a saw but just not who he said he was

Sadly that seems to be an issue with some.

Did we ever figure out a price on the welder? It’s almost like a Bill G post, except Bill G maybe wants to buy.
He gave me a fair price last night but it is mute as it sold today.

Looks like my welder. It runs nice on heavier material, but I'd trade it in a heartbeat for the 210 Miller I had previously.
I prefer Miller.
I had a Lincoln Invertec STT II that came from a GM plant in Michigan. It was a very high end machine and sells for $12,000 new now. It turned out it is was dedicated 480 3 phase. I have never seen a welder that could not be converted to single phase. I took it to a local auction and told them to mail it home in an envelope.

The envelope was damn near empty.

The Miller 250X is a primo Mig Welder.

We’ve had one for close to 25 years & if it welds good & you can buy it for $1,000-1500, I would.

Ours was $2800 in like 1999-2000.

The Stinkedon 255 is also a very good Mig Welder.

Change to a Tweco 15’ whip to either machine & get to it.

I was at the Miller site recently, and a good number of models have rebates on the smaller portable models.

There are also a couple of 161STL's on FB and CL for under $800.
