Mcculloch sp125/101b kart saw build thread

Finally starting the build, have been gathering parts for a while now, and am a few parts shy! But I figured I would start assembling most of it. It real time and don’t have everything, so it’s going to be a while.
I got the short block assemble tonite!

I sent the block rod and pistons to Terry Ives, it was a stock bore block, unfortunately the rod was unusable, so he sold me a nos one! The good part was it only took a .004 over piston to clean it up! This was a original kart saw block and already had the mods needed.

My opinion, if those were the painted covers you could use, I would go chrome.
Should look cool with the fresh yellow and black parts.

I am not in a hurry! Lol I really want to fine a nos wrap handle for her! I think it’s almost unatanium! The other bits shouldn’t be too bad, nos air filter some bar plates and coil, think I have the rest
