Can anyone point me to a site that sells 1/8 shank left hand burrs, I'm having a hard time keeping my burr from jumping around in some transfer corners.

Ronie, this is where I got mine as well ^^^^.

It’s very aggressive. I have to say, I’ve rarely used it. Much easier to use a Right handed burr (I am assuming that you are dealing with the PTO upper-always annoying) and then finish the carving with a diamond burr or stone on reverse.

YMMV, but after buying the L handed burr, I’ve found I rarely use it.

Thanks, I ordered one to try.

I bought a left hand burr once, used it maybe twice and gave up on it. You'll learn techniques to control the chatter on the RH burr like coming at an angle across the port so only the tip touches the left side wall. Or turn the cylinder around so the burr points away from you and then run the burr up/down what was the left wall (now right), but don't try to push away from it or it will be chatter city, do this to clean it up or trench it deeper so can blend the rest of the port roof to it the normal way.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try.

@srcarr52 I gave your suggestion a try and it worked like a charm, I should have asked how you guys are doing it a long time ago.
