I needed a better way to get the wood to my brothers. I pulled this trailer up and loaded it up pretty well. Cubic measurements come out to 180c.f. The load is 90% oak. The overloads still have a tiny gap and there is plenty of room before the bump stops. Also, before someone posts, I'm not concerned if it's overloaded.

I still see room on top and at the end. Nice trailer.

I use a little trailer on rancho-cost-a-plenty that only handles 3 face cords, works. I have a pic someplace with a cord of green white oak piled up on a Ford F 250.Publicity thing I only moved around 200 feet, steered real easy .

I've seen those trailers on craigs for a while now. The only thing that stopped me was the high deck height.

Who's monkeyin' around?? Funny pic;)

I understand the deck height. I just bought another one at auction for $200. I plan on putting a 4" drop axle rated at 7k with electric brakes under it. 8 lug wheels and appropriate tires will round it out.

That's my son on the newer 105 loaded down. It's sold, that's why I bought another one. I'm trailer poor.

I'd love to find one of those for 200. I need a good trailer to haul wood on. Is there an auction site or do you just try to find them local?

Those are awfully high numbers. I could buy a lot of those items, bring them up there, and sale them for less than what they are listed for. I would, looking at the numbers, make more than 40%.
For others looking go to govplanet.com Free to register, auctions every Wednesday. Plenty of search options, including prior sales.

Those are M105a3 models. They are 1.5 ton rated. They have surge brakes and a different set-up size wise compared to other M105 models. They aren't significant changes, but their are some.

Mike, there is one sitting in Altoona if you would like me to stop and check it for you.
If you don't mind and if it's not out of your way. I'm not pressed to get one, I have all my wood in for this year. But for the right price..... thanks john

I have a m101a3 that I use to heat my house. I pull it behind my 1997 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4. The trailer can take more than the truck. This was a load of eucalyptus I hauled home a couple of years ago.

I bought a pintle hitch for the truck and kept the lunette on the trailer. I like it better than a ball hitch off road. It articulates and doesn't come off the truck. Another plus are the parking brakes. I can leave the trailer about anywhere I want.

BTW when my wife took this picture she said nothing says "redneck" better than jean shorts and work boots. Funny
