Basically did a quick up date on three of the test case saws I have out, and built a 365/372xpw again and discussed benefits of the hobby as a way to loose weight..
Now that deer season is just about over, I need to join you in dropping a few pounds cutting wood. Of course the upcoming holidays make the “eating right” component tricky.
More 660 time, really this is a snap shot of their life. Only bucking, too big and bulky anymore for felling. The Husqvarna 390's bumped the Stihl OEM 660 out of that duty a few years back, the HTSS 385 bumped the 390. And the OEM 660 got Sold so the AM660's and 390 typically do the bucking work while the 385 did most of the felling this year...now the 372xpw build looks to be bumping the 385 down to Bucking on the landing. These 660's have to compete for time. And for now, they get some. I'll put a light weight bar and Polymer Flywheel on one with a cylinder with finger ports. and see if that can compete with the Stock 390's and 385 HTSS. But for now? They get run but the Husqvarna's are the preferred saws here.
