Don’t expect a running saw. It needs some work. It had old mix in it and I put new mix in and it fired up after 4 or 5 pulls. You have to feather the throttle to run. I’m sure it needs a carb kit. It needs a new af. Flocking is missing.

I believe this is a complete 266xp. However, the name plate is missing. I wiped the saw down and besides the chunk out of the clutch cover and broken band, nothing else seems to be broken. The cylinder has “50” and other markings on the base and looks original. It has a Tillotson carb. It seems to oil well and when I had gas and oil in the tanks, it did not seem to leak.

Piston looks carbon scored, so I’d put a new piston and rings in it. I did not pull the cylinder and am not interested in doing so. I did not pressure or vac check it. It has enough compression to run, but I dont have tester I trust.

The top cover is sun faded, but the case looks really pretty clean. If you want a video pm me

They are tools
Meant to be used and enjoyed
They are tools, and I have plenty to use, I enjoy the perty ones to, but if they have never been ran in wood when I get them that's how they leave.
Lol no sure haven't . I'm surprised you don't have a 266.
It the one 2 series I haven't owned, I'll probably be okay :eaea:.

No it won't be ok, you need to find one asap. Kind of a factory hot rod.
