I put a meteor piston and new oem crank seals. The old piston was not scored and was in good shape but a dished piston, thus the need to be replaced. Saw has great compression and runs but it smokes terribly and a black oily residue is come from the muffler. Either it needs a case gasket or a new carburetor. Brake band is missing. Would be a nice saw with some work. Less than 15 minutes run time on new piston. I am trying to sell this because I have too many irons in the fire. $150 plus shipping.

The 261 I had had a 120, just like a lot of 262s. The two shoe holds up fine. The only noticable differences in the woods are the flat top piston and a more open exhaust. One half of that is already taken care of here.
