SOLD Husqvarna 261/262

I bought this saw local, it is the cleanest 261/262 I have been lucky enough to snag, I installed a used oem 262 piston, saw has the Mahle decomp cylinder which is preferable for porting and a 144 carb, also has the magnesium clutch cover, I will include a HDA 87 with the sale of the saw at the price listed, I also have a new Meteor 262 piston in the box for an additional $30. This saw has new crank seals installed OEM of course, new full line also, I am downsizing and a few saws have to go, if I didn't own 2 ported 262s this one would stay. Price is 350.00 pho

2 shoe vs 3 shoe clutch , dish piston vs flat top...and something else I can't remember at the moment

Never ran a 262...

I drank the 262 juice and got drunk on it. I had 6 ported ones and a pretty hot stock one all at one time... it may have been 7&8. Anyways, that speaks to my regard for these saws. They hold their own with current offerings. Their light, nimble, and completely reliable. Every one should own one...... or at least have experienced one.... or two.

Of the 50 ported Chainsaw’s I have owned, the 262 XP was the only one that I bought duplicates of beyond just having an extra one.
