I have a closed port jug, I am in need of a piston for. LRB is a no, Traverse Creek is a no. I have heard of some alternatives, but I don't remember what they were. Anyone have the answer?

Hl Supply has them listed.
You might want to measure the bore.

The last smaller one I got at lrb.
Maybe it was their last one as I see none now.

There are guys that can machine others to work.
That's above my intel.

I have saws with both sizes open and closed.
Either their badges mean nothing to bore size, OR, the top ends were changed before I got em.

Best runner I had was small bore cp that I bought new.
It is labeled 51.

Ive never heard of a closed port cylinder on a 51, unless you got urself a unicorn.

I think the 51 and cp 55 were both 45mm. Open port 55 was 46mm
correct

I thought the 51s were 45 and 55s 46.
You guys have more experience.

I tried researching this the other year and found disagreement and realized what mattered was keeping running.

It is exactly as kevin said above. If you have an oem 45 mm closed port cylinder, its from the "non-rancher" 55, built only a couple years. If you have a 44 mm closed port that fits this platform, its from a partner 5000/jonsered490/poulan pro 325.
