Hey, folks. I need help finding a .7mm x 56mm ring set for my 2100. Any help would be appreciated!
Do you have the part number? Every search query I can come up with brings the 1.5mm rings. I'll keep searchingHit or miss, I have a new pair I’d sell if I don’t have the top end to match. Found them on eBay
You answered two questions I hadn't asked yet.An alternative solution .You can shave a set of rings down using a surface grinder with a magnetic table .I had that done over 50 years ago rebuilding a 1950 Indian MC .Fact as I type I've got 6 tool steel rings partly completed for a Mac 125 only needing shaved down for completion .--there's a trick to everything ----
I'd rather not buy an after market piston and rings. I'd prefer the oem piston and rings. I was able to find nos rings on ebay. What is the advantage of the thin ring? Why not just put a piston in it that take the normal ring?
honestly i think its more to do with the full skirt windowed piston than it is the rings. just like a lot of other stuff, it becomes cool when it becomes rare. What is the advantage of the thin ring? Why not just put a piston in it that take the normal ring?
