Yep. 2nd year been pretty dry. Some trees even giving it up along the creeks.

Tree is growing wild..

But I’ve never seen cherry trees make actual cherries.

Wild plum. Possibly goose plum. Pick them and make some jelly. Those look good, the ones in my field have been hit by some worms. May make some jelly anyway from them. Or just eat them as they get soft.

I tasted them..

Not bad, but left that tart alum feeling on the tongue.

Give them a bit more time and they will turn redder and ripen up some more. When you pick them and they are soft, then they are ripe. Ate thousands of them over the years when I was younger.
