The miller 5105...

Talk about a “do it all” rig..

I gots 2 of those muhself... good to see it’s still the favorite..

Mine is my favorite to run also but now it has me pulling my hair out. I started slobbering when cutting then just dying & it won’t wind up to full power. Pulled the carb 3 times, dismantled, ran thru the ultra sonic cleaner, used carb & choke cleaner, air ; Still not winding up. fuel has been swapped out, replaced the carb, swapped the plug, changed the coil. Still won’t wind up…

It’s probably something ridiculously simply that I am overlooking but I haven’t found it yet.

Pull the muffler by chance? That's about all that's left to change. Hope you figure it out!

Yes sir, that was the first thing I did. I just forgot to mention it. It’s too damn cold to be fussing with it now. I will address it when the temps climb a bit

$1650 with tax, I could of saved tax if I ran it thru my brothers or Dads farm account but I just used my consumer account. That way there is less bs when I do my taxes.

That looks like a nice set of tools i have a similar box on my truck with mac tools and other misc brands as well as 2 roll around boxes in shop that are full mac, craftsman, kobalt and a few other brands

Finally have the boiler project finished. Just in time for the cool-down.
The house is already more comfortable than running on the propane.
I expect to see a bit less idle time as it cools down:

I am happy with how the plumbing turned out. I added a thermostatic valve to the domestic hot water so nobody will get burned.

That looks sharp !!

We used to use pex for some jobs at the plumbing shop, some folks just didn’t like/trust it but it made life much simpler for us. Manifolds coming off the water heater are great but again most folks didn’t want to pay for them or trust them.

I am sure you will be much more comfortable with that heating your house as opposed to propane.
