The HS75 engine runs good but my mismatch control handle don’t work right and the throttle cable hangs up.

I’ll try dumpster diving at Jack Horners tomorrow. Thats where they put the dead weed wackers. [emoji1696]

Did some clearing for a friend of mine. Getting ready to build a house. 14-24” oak stumps. The old 580ck backhoe actually did pretty well. The root balls were huge on the larger ones. Prlly pushing 4K lbs.

My forklift is a 580CK (so I was told, there's no tag on it). It's old but still does pretty decent.

My backhoe is a 580ck ‘68. Manual reverser clutch machine. Simple but works well. This one has a touch over 2200 original hours. One thing I like about it is it has the John Deere style wobble controls factory. Very rare for a case machine of this vintage. Case def makes good equipment. It’s usually simple and cheap to maintain compared to other brands.

Morning everybody.

Today I get to walk my Daughter down the aisle.
:)

Congratulations! Dad!

Revisited using the FS90 controls on the FS75 and it seems to work. [emoji106]

Throttle cable is slightly different end and changed a spade to a ring terminal on the kill switch wire[emoji108]

See if it functions correctly later.

If I pop for a Farmertec pole saw ($70) head I should be into this thing for right at a Benjamin.

What does the cottonwood get used for? Is it substantial enough over time to use as 2x4s?

Have been using cottonwood for 2x6 pallet lumber for drying good wood. Plus a friend used it for light weight boxes. Dries fast and I get logs delivered for free.
