Cicadas have begun to emerge, since both 13 yr and 17 yr are in this area at same time (only each 221 year happening) eating them this time not recommended. Adverse effect from mixing the 2. Not that that makes me any less likely to be eating em any way more than lacking that news. Just not trained as a Seal or Ranger in military

The tented greenhouse is doing what I'd hoped for with warming the soil from 48f to 64f @ 6" deep in 4 days. I'll do a second tilling today and plant a bunch tomorrow. And as a soil temp reference, I checked another area that gets similar sun and temps were @ 52f.

There was a great display of the Northern Lights last night, it lasted over 4 hrs. The is a possibility of another milder outbreak tonight.
That's neat!

My family in Oregon sent me a bunch of pictures, it was pretty impressive there just above the 45th.
I lived there for 44 years and never saw the northern lights.

Mother snapped this pic early in the show, it started about 9:30 & slowed down around 11 or so then fired back up after midnight. I went out around 12:30 - 1:00 & the nw sky was very colorful.
