Morning Steve, how's it going?
Pretty good. The kitchen counter top materials are supposed to have come in last Thursday. Once they are made the plumber can finish with his stuff then it’s a wait for all the inspections. Figuring the first week of November.

I need a heavier machine....
Fill those rear tires with fluid.

The new liquid fill material has come a long way as far as non corrosive properties, ease of filling etc.

I think you would be pleased with the results.

Dug up some pics from the old days out in Oregon/Washington.
Approx. 70 year old sitka spruce, was just under 8' on the butt, 5' on the top, and 20' long.
I had to quarter it to get it on the mill, it yielded 4,200 bf of lumber.
Built most of the shop out of that one log.

The maple looks doable to me, the oak is out of my comfort zone...

Too close for me also.
I'd cut em both if they were mine.... assuming there is ample space to lay them down...
I'd just put a line on that oak to keep it from going on the house, and to get it moving the right way.
But that's just me....

That oak would have to lay out into to the street if I am remembering the layout of Carl’s place. The pull line is/was my line of thought also.

I don’t recall seeing that maple, maybe it was on the north side. I am thinking by the looks, it would have to be at least partly in the street also.

Some DA would likely come along & drive into it with out proper signage…

Well, like I said... "if it was mine"... which means it would be out in the country someplace....with fewer DA's around.
Town stuff is beyond my pay rate, for the reason that way too many people/legal things can go wrong in civilized localities.
