Did any of those spotty showers make it that far south this morning?

I was worried we were going to have some flash flooding…
It’s better than nothing but it isn’t going to last long with the temps in the 90’s & windy. @67L36Driver keeps hoarding the rain down there, he must be living right. Most of the storms seem to start out in South Central NE & stay between I-80 to the KS/NE border while moving east and follow that line right across south of the IA/MO line down to KC.

Corn pollen will cook at 106.. even if there’s moisture in the ground. But if the ear is made already the toll is not as bad.

when Australia is parched, and we get better temps..

We're going to need 3 or 4 years in a row, like we had in 2018 to make up for this year. We had so much snow and rain that year (a lot for us that is) that for the first time in my life, I heard farmers complain about getting too much rain.

Every time snow would melt and the roads would just start healing, we'd get more snow. Just when it dried up enough for farmers to get in the field, it'd rain. Planting and wheat and corn harvest took forever that year, because it wouldn't dry out.
