Now the cooling air can do its job.

Recoil and baffle was past 40% blocked with saw cake.

Nice

Well almost made it home. Guess it's time to go ahead and swap my 6k axles in place of these 3500!

Thanks guys. Hammer #4 for the win. Plus soaking with Aero Kroil during lunch. 12 lb hammer against the rim. Now to tire shop to see how bent the rim is.

I'd be coating the mating surfaces with a thin layer of grease for reassembly, but I always put a tiny dab on each stud thread, just in case I have to remove it with a sore wrist, or a not-quite-long-enough wrench handle.
I've never used a dually, and I'm not even sure how they're attached together, but that looked to be some serious business getting it apart.

Lookit that spring! Pretty stout unit you've got there, sir. Hope the wheel isn't bent up. Glad you got it apart.

Well, I am now trailered. I’m impressed with the build quality on this medium duty unit. Wiring harness cable is burly, and I had the brake gain on 5 to get them broke in. Paying close attention to lane placement, it’s wider than the truck. Very well balanced when empty. Got a spare and a removable wheel for the jack. Two new cheap steel tool boxes for an unorthodox mounting configuration.

I'm gonna try to run those logs across the scales to see how much weight I actually had on there. What's ur guys estimates. That's an 18' long trailer floor.

But I got the trailer across the street from there. TSC trailers are built pretty flimsily.
And they want way to much
