Scored these two homelite's a few weeks back, the super 77's bottom end is still seized solid so I am putting that saw on the back burner. Luckily this 770 gs's bottom end never seized and it was just the piston corroded to the cylinder. Needless to say both saws are in a million pieces right now. haha

SO, scored a good 775d on ebay for cheap(has compression and piston/cylinder look good). Gonna rob the cylinder and piston off that and re-ring it for this saw here. Bore and strokes are the same so hoping head bolt locations are to.

Here are pictures as of now....plan is to start tearing this thing the rest of the way apart so I can take it to the shop to soda blast all the parts. May sand blast some parts where the paint won't peel. Did locate a head gasket and seals. Bearings seem to be fine.

Anyone know a good match for homelite read and green???? image.png 014.JPG
