Good to know. I haven’t seen many aftermarket slant fins. Still blows my mind how wore it is but could also be some pos big bore claimed crap. Ohh well, I’ve spent $20 worse ways.

I'd just like to say.
There’s too few markings, I would definitely say aftermarket.
Theres no A or B on the top centre, and where it says 1128 in the next gap there’s nothing, it should say stihl etc. and around the base on side it should say something , not nothing like yours is.

It’s a mahle slant fin cylinder. Not gonna lie it’s fairly rough and worth the $20 gamble. But it’s decoration now. Not sure there’s any 52 mm slant fin cylinders unless I’m oblivious

Just for clarification, here is a jug off of my 044 slant fin 10mm wrist pin saw. It has the 1128 stamp but Stihl is there just under it. Also Mahle is on the PTO side of the cylinder base.

When I bought my first 044 it had an identical big bore kit on it to that and it ran awesome until the plating came off in the same spot as that one and ate the piston
