I'm a little disappointed, never run into problems with highway stuff being out of spec.

Which version of the saw do you have? Is it an older one?

I don't know the date of manufacture, it's an 029 super so it's probably fairly old.

Hyway sent me this document on the MS290-390's. I did not know it but the older models had a different clutch hub. I'm trying to find out if theirs is the old or new version.

Hmm, I've really only ever worked on the 0 series, 024/025/026/028/029/036 and they all had short Hub nuts as I remember. Can't recall working on a 290 ever...so I guess it's possible.
