First, thanks for making this thread.
I prefer 1xx to be posted here and not in the 2xx serie, even some of them share the same body.

Same 181SE a year or so later after many miles of travel and a bit of elbow grease. Definitely one of my favorite saws. I also have a 162SE and 154SE, but haven't gotten them running yet.

That one is the "forefather" of the most talked about 2xx series.

Next was the "US only" 166SE in 1978, that there is no real evidence that hit the market before it became the 266SE....

A presumably very short-lived "1xx" saw is the 181SE/XP (just a few months in 1986?).

That would have been produced right before the 281XP. Should be single ring too, as the last couple 181SE IPL's show the single ring piston. I'd sure like to be able to examine one of those to see which piston, cylinder, and carb it has.
