Starts easy and runs good, has a 14" bar and chain with only 1 tank of gas of use. It has some cracks in the plastic as shown, but they've been there ever since the first day I used the saw when it was new. I think it still has plenty of life left in it, I just don't use it as much. Spark plug is good. Compression is still good, it's been run on both 50:1 and 40:1 much of its life.

As you can see it's getting time for a new sprocket and bearing after using up this chain and maybe another, then it should be converted to 14" Stihl 1/4 .043 for smoother and quicker cutting.

Muffler modded, still has the cat, but bypassed. You can see the cat glow when it idles. 105-114dB at operator's ear.

Threw a search here this pops up. From way back in 2019 it’s dated. $150 even back then way a great buy. These little saws are great. It’s about same time I bought mine. I went on to buy the 355T witch my memory serves me right is actually a lb lighter. Less CC’S tho. I have gave tht one to my older brother. He liked cutting with the 27 so much . I figured for amount limbs he cuts up for clearing shooting lanes it would be perfect for him. He loves it and uses it every spring and fall. I would like to find a few more used 27 builders tho. Maybe do some tinkering with em. Mine I removed muffler cat thing. Muffler Mod retuned card to it. Runs just a tiny bit wee better.
