I can't speak for the brake band but the handle looks 266-ish to me.

Dang it. Well I hope one day I can get one! Trying to restore my 288xp that was given to me by my uncle. Saw runs great just missing the brake handle and components.

Not 266. I believe everything is early 2100 stuff. But if I’m wrong. Definitely don’t be afraid to correct me.

And I’m assuming the 2100 handle wouldn’t fit on a 288?

I believe the handle I’ve got posted goes into the bracket that mounts on top of the cover.

Gotcha - It must be the brake handle for the half-wrap 2100 then, because the brake handle for the full-wrap 2100 has a couple of bends in it to clear the wrap.

I put it together how I thought it should go.
I’m assuming the handle would have to be mounted into the bracket that bolts onto the cover?
