I wondered who got that.

That was me. That's why I was low on saw funds....

Finally finished my plans with this 7900. Slab side lightweight slug, tightened squish, timing advance and uncrimped/gutted the muffler. New fuel line, impulse, throttle cable and carb kit while I had it apart (wear items that are easy to do while you have it all apart). Its still on its first tank and impressive with the 20” 8 pin on it. It will wear a 24/28 most of the time.

FYI to run a 8-9 pin on these the dust flap in clutch cover needs modified to clear the chain. At least on mine it did. Easy to do and doesn’t affect the functionality. I think this may only be on the early saws. Maybe they’ve changed it on later ones?

Why not just bump up to 394/395 if your going to run a 28? Better oiling, more Powa!

Jeff, you forget Dolly's come.with an oiler that can take care of a 28", I know your used to Stihls where they can't handle that, so just a reminder.
