I have a stock 7910 that’s cut less than 10 cords that I’d like to get ported. I’m in Maryland, which isn’t a timber state, so I assume I’ll be shipping the PH. That said, I don’t think location will be a big deal.
I’m looking for a dependable builder with a solid business reputation. Please let me know if you’re interested or know of someone who will be a good fit for the job.

I can take a stab at it. I've never done it before but I been watching YouTube videos. I just bought a $10 Drillmaster grinder from Harbor Freight. So I should be good to go. $50

Just my 2 cents, wait the few months. Send it to Kevin, I promise you want be disappointed. I have five saws done by this man. Still baffles me how he gets his big ass hands in the jugs and works his magic. But anyways it’s worth the wait buddy.

Just an update. I sent the saw out to Kevin and got it back in about a week. Great communication through the process, including pics of the porting. The saw was never short on power, but it rips now - it was worth the wait.
I highly recommend Huskihl for saw work.

It's a lot of work - A lot of people may be not aware of how much research goes into developing a successful recipe.

I know Kevin had to build many Roper 3.7s before he found a set of numbers that worked for him @huskihl

The 9000/9010 mufflers are worse!

The birdcage 7900 and SLR 7910 mufflers I just uncrimp, mod and recrimp - about as easy as it gets on a muffler that is not bolted together.
