Any reason why I can't replace this fuel line assembly with some readily available regular fuel line and maybe just delete the primer bulb?

I ended up just using the original set up. I was having an issue with power loss on the top end but the saw would hot start and idle great so I was blaming carb/fuel lines. I cleaned out the tank vent and it seems good now

A DCS340 was my first saw, given to me 15 years ago by an old gentleman who fixed them. I take it out once a year to cut my Christmas tree. A tradition now.
