Starts and runs and oils but bogs down. Not exactly sure what it needs compression seems good

I already gots it's poulan pro brother. I think you need it Mike. I will say that they are a surprising runner though.
I had one before and they are great runners. I can get another from a good friend for next to nothing, or I would be all over it.

My son inherited a 3.7 from his wife's grandpa. I had never seen one before. It had sat for many years. Cleaned it up, replaced the fuel line (very easy), poured in new gas and oil, she fired right up. After a little tuning work on the carb that thing is a monster. Way more powerful than my Stihl 260....runs pretty much like my 036 Pro. Very impressive saw! GLWS.
