Here's something we've all seen. Put the battery on to charge, and the dreaded "bad battery" lights start flashing, and it won't charge.

Here's how I fixed one of mine.

Tools needed:

Volt/Ohm meter.

Cut the end off the charger. I mean....WTF have you been keeping the damn thing for anyhow?

Attach one side....

Then touch, remove, touch, remove, touch, remove, the other side for a couple of minutes. These things charge in pulses....so.

When I first checked this battery it was at 3.7 volts. After 2 minutes of charging with the old camera charger, it was up to a little over 10 volts. So I put it on the charger, and the flashing bad battery light was gone.
So.....now you're 6 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, AND 2 minutes behind on port work?

GET BACK TO WORK SLACKER! :)

I’ve used another known good battery to boost them back up to chargeable range.
Just connect positive to positive and negative to negative for a few minutes then charge as normal.
Never did have one return to full service life though, seem to die quicker.
