A friend of mine has a Stihl BR 400 backpack sprayer. The translucent plastic tank that holds the herbicide is cracking on the corners. I fiberglass it for him on one corner, probably four or five years ago and now the other corner as well as the plastic piece holding the filter inside the tank or both cracking.
I can try fiberglass it again, but it seems it's gotten to the point of the UV. It's just destroying the plastic.
Does anyone know a good source for a replacement for this tank?
Hopefully at a lower cost than the typical Stihl? prices?
I welcome any leads or suggestions

Thanks for your timeIMG_4032.jpegIMG_4023.jpegIMG_4024.jpegIMG_4025.jpegIMG_4029.jpeg

Furb,
Am having a hard time finding an IPL wiith a part number is on it
This is why I do not buy any stihl equipment myself because they do their best to force you to buy everything from their dealers.
I see that his equipment has a BR 400 number on it, but apparently those are primarily blowers and they need the kit you were talking about to be a sprayer
Do you know if that is correct or not?
Do you know if there are any numbers on the parts you have like stamp in the tank?
I don't know where to find a part number for you

Furb,
I figured out they are calling this a SR 420 mistblower, at least I think so.
Part number for the tank is 4203 700 800
He also needs the strainer part number 4203 700 8810
I am guessing the kit you have would have both these plus the other misc parts that turn the blower into a sprayer.
Please let me knowhow you would like to proceed.
Thanks

Sorry for the delay but…
The box fell apart so there might be some kit parts missing lll get together what I can find and add pictures. Work and everything else is crazy right so it might be a few days again until I get to it.
