Looking to borrow or buy someone's auto tune cd. I just want to read and clear codes.... Supposedly the cd was shipped with the early diagnostic kits, now software is strictly from husq dealer. Which Imho is complete b*****t. Like an OBDII scanner, you should be able to access codes of an item that you own. Unfortunately, small engine repair shops do not have strong lobbyists to force small engine companies to allow and standardize diagnostic hardware/software

Sorry for the rant....

Anyway, if anyone has a cd please pm.

Not sure that just having the CD will do you any good, needs a dealer code to make it work.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in an old version on a CD. First, there are a pile of updates in the interface alone, including adding Redmax and the 572's. Second the firmware updates are all down loaded from the Husqvarna site and you need to be a dealer to get there. Third if you have a Husqvarna dealer who is worth a chit, having them update the firmware is a low effort and low dollar deal. All the saws are eventually going to this style of control systems. It does put a crimp in the hobby side. One thing I would be wary of is builders doing random things without access to CST and therefor no real feed back on how the mods are being reacted too with the autotune system..:) Doesn't mean the builder NEEDS CST, just means its a better Idea to have access either being a dealer or having access to one. Mods do effect how the autotune reacts. AND you can see potential issues with a build concept PDQ if there is access to CST. Just saying.

To the OP, "Clearing Codes" really isn't a concept that translates. History is stored including error code history. None of that is used to effect how the saw runs. Just helps debugging a hurt saw and for dealer it can aid in warranty claims. Again dealer could give you a screen shot of what CST has displayed from the history data. Carb temp used to be a big issue..:) Ultimately Autotune is constantly adjusting real time to the saw and conditions. Firmware updates are the only thing that will change details on the system that effect how it starts and runs. And ...back to the beginning, thats a dealer value add.
