Searched old threads before I decided to start this one. I just finished a complete re-build on a 660 and it had a walbro 69 on it. I purchased a new 320 tilly and put on and it runs excellent. was wondering if any other carb would give it more performance liken to the hda87 vs. 120,144 on a 262 ?

I would like to help you out Gary but I honestly don't know. I am a big Tillotson fan however, love the way they tune.

I’d like to take notes here:deal: all for research of course. :eusa_whistle:

So carry on:D:D:D:D
I just built a wj-48 and a wj-69 and started a thread to see if anyone could chime in on the 48 ? I have not ever recall seeing anything on a 48. I am waiting on a .074 jet from dealer. The 320 tilly runs and idles excellent.

I’ve no idea what Jet is in these carbs. The only thing I’ve done is semi followed mastermind 461 main jet mod as well as a bit of portin, I did not go as large as he says to.

I just can’t risk foobarin a oem carb. But happy to play AM carbs...

These can be a bit of a Russian roulette game. Ie.. I’ve fitted a 025 carb on a 260. And boy was that hard to dial in.. work very well now thou... less than 1\4 on the low and high was tricky but got it set to 13.9 as well as the boost ports. Runs awsome now

Anyway happys to learn and play saws

I've really had no problems with the Asian carbs on the 660s, except for one where the fuel lever was set wrong, but I was able to fix that. I even replaced an OEM carb with an Asian one on a 660 for a local tree guy and it is still going fine.

Have you tried the Bing yet?
Which bing - aren't some of those hard to get kits for? I picked up a WJ-48 thinking some had larger ventury - this 1 did not. WJ69 gets a lot of talk. I picked up a new WJ76 - plan on going with that. Tillotson carbs are great but I have not tried the 320. Hmmm

I’d pick the Tilly in just about any situation over Walbro
